Vogel offers one of the most beautiful take-off points for paragliding in Slovenia. From Ukanc, we take the cable car to reach the upper station of the Vogel ski resort.<\/p>\n
We then take a ride with a four-seater chairlift to Orlove glave, from where the take-off point is less than 100 metres to the east. This is the runway we recommend the most, and is also ideal in the winter time.<\/p>\n
From the top of Orlove Glave there is another take-off point south-west above \u017dagarjev Graben, which is only recommended in very light winds or no wind at all.<\/p>\n
In good conditions, we can fly on the northern slopes of the mountains above Bohinj, but the high altitude also makes panoramic flights and local paragliding interesting enough.<\/p>\n

The paragliding course consists of a theoretical and a practical part. It lasts 5 days, 15 to 20 hours. The trainee completes approximately 20 flights, with an altitude difference of 30 to 150 metres.After completing the programme and passing the final examination, each student receives a diploma and an L-category pilot card.<\/p>\n
It is designed for anyone who would like to be introduced to paragliding. The course lasts 3-4 hours on school terrain, the student learns paragliding technique and completes 2-3 flights of 20-40 m.<\/p>\n
